Field: Thorne’s strongest asset is its field operations team led by President Mike Degnan. Thorne’s 45+ foremen are OSHA 30 hour trained with over 500 years of combined construction experience. Working directly under master carpenter Superintendent Dave Piszczek, the field employees successfully ensure customer satisfaction by meeting and exceeding quality control metrics. They work directly with the general contractor’s staff to establish optimum project workflow and to exceed project goals. Thorne’s field reputation is second to none.
Office: Thorne’s office staff is headed by CEO Dan Degnan. Chief Estimator Nick Degnan manages the estimating staff. Estimators begin working on projects as early as schematic design performing take-offs and cost estimating. When successful on a bid estimators will manage the project throughout construction. This consistency, along with their great depth of experience and dedication, makes the estimating staff invaluable.
The purchasing and accounting departments are the backbone of Thorne. These departments pride themselves on partnering with customer’s staff to provide timely and correct documentation. Prompt and accurate material deliveries and subsequent vendor payments keep jobsite workflow seamless.
